We have decided to go ahead with the Open Day. We are expecting passing showers so dress accordingly; rain jackets, umbrellas and gum boots. And I am disappointed I didn't check this earlier. I assumed being stormy conditions, it would be postponed so I won't make it today..
I am very keen to assist in the restoration however, not just to follow it (and I own gumboots and don't mind getting gritty).
I was involved in a group in the UK to restore habitat for native wildlife (mainly birds) it's hearteneing to know it's also happening in Hamilton..
It's very rewarding to see them coming back to the area worked on.
